Judge Neil McGill Gorsuch was confirmed on April 7, 2017 for a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court, filling a 14-month vacancy. Associate Justice Neil Gorsuch will be 50 years old on August 29th of this year. I estimate he will serve on the Supreme Court until 2050, or until he is 82 years of age. A year ago, I was invited to speak at the campus of Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida. I was greeted and welcomed by Faith Doski, the President of the Republican Club, and several others. They were attired in dresses and business suits or classroom attire. The professionalism, grace and class exhibited by these young students was truly uplifting.
