If the American presidency had any clout whatsoever, it would have demanded the release of these journalists immediately “or else.” But, this is just another symptom of our current administration. That we are making deals with countries who have vowed to destroy us is unconscionable. So, can “We the People” be surprised this has happened? 

Of course not. Can “We the people” expect there will be some political effort made to have these people released? Not until it has become a painful issue for the major media outlets that the “Self-Preservation” of the politicians in question, is in question.

We can all wonder if our administration refused to stand up and go to bat for the American hostages held by ISIS (whom later were beheaded, raped and murdered), why would they go to bat for hostages of one of our newfound “allies?”

Finally, an author who brings you solutions, instead of problems.

Americans have lost faith in their overreaching federal government. “We the People” don’t need to be overregulated or have their taxes misspent. Americans are victims of a crumbling economy, high prices and stagnant wages. They view government as bloated and politicians as corrupt. They do not trust the leadership at any level.
