Can Hillary Trump Donald? Part I
People ask me, who will be the next president? I’m the only one who is not yet certain who the candidates will be. So why ask me? Well. I do have a few scenarios that seem to be gathering steam.
Does the insider, Clinton and/or another Democrat to be named later have more clout than the outsiders, Trump or Sanders? What if the “RINOs” decide they want a different candidate than Trump? What if President Obama doesn’t like the “way it’s going” and decides to suspend elections and become king/commissar/emir/Grand Mufti for life?
Think I’ve gone off my rocker? Most likely. But you have to realize my dilemma, I don’t like any of them. Why? None of them are true leaders with a vision and a plan to restore American Exceptionalism.
Who are the insiders and who are the outsiders? Perhaps they are all insiders and “We the People” are the outsiders. We don’t know yet because they have yet to tell us. We’re waiting for the media to inform the great unwashed, er, I mean the great uninformed. Right now it looks like Hillary will trump Donald.
But wait! Is that the only answer to why so many Americans profess this adoration or this current crop of candidates. Actually, it has been that way for some time now. I know, I remember Roosevelt vs. Dewey in 1940. Have never seen this level of insanity before!
Who is best for America? Isn’t that the real question. Establishment candidate or non-establishment candidate? One? All? Neither? Let’s examine my aforementioned scenarios.
The media has established her as the obvious frontrunner. They are “all-in” on HRC. Deeply invested. Why?
1. She is a woman. time is now for the first female president. It’s historical, baby!
2. It is her turn. HRC was upset by BHO in 2008 and she has waited patiently for her time.
3. Hillary is a victim. She has had to suffer all of the dalliances of her husband, and all of those “vast right wing conspiracies.”
4. Hillary is the most experienced. After all she was First Lady and therefore knows her way around the White House.
5. HRC was a Senator and a Secretary of State. That has to count for something.
He just told the press he would be a better president than Hillary. Why?
1. He has been Vice President for 8 long years. He knows how to do this political stuff.
2. HRC is indicted by the FBI, and Obama does not pardon her prior to the election/inauguration.
The “Independent” Senator from Vermont who is really from Brooklyn. Why?
1. Bernie is a socialist, and this what America needs to replace evil capitalism.
2. Bernie is the consummate insider who is the ultimate “outsider.” Best of both worlds.
The Republican “presumptive” candidate who is the frontrunner that everybody loves to hate. Why?
1. Donald is the supreme “deal-maker” who knows how “make a deal” with everyone including the Klingons.
2. Trump tells it the way it is. The unadulterated straight-talker. Some “We the People” like that in a candidate.
3. Donald is a tough guy. Some “We the People” like blowhards who stand tall and won’t back down.
4. Trump is a businessman who has made a lot of money and cannot be bought like a “poor” politician.
Could be anyone who can be controlled. (Ryan, Rubio, Kasich, Bush, Graham, to name a few)
1. The Republican Political Party needs to maintain control of its’ brand, er, its’ voting base.
2. The “Party” big buck donors don’t think Trump will do what they want him to do.
3. The presumptive candidate is not conservative enough, or is too conservative. Take your choice.
4. That gatecrasher candidate is not as experienced in policy as some of our “good old boy party member insiders.”
As the great American poet, Jim Morrison once wrote:
“Strange Day” The Doors Released: September 25, 1967
Strange days have found us
Strange days have tracked us down
They’re going to destroy our casual joys
We shall go on playing or find a new town, yeahStrange eyes fill strange rooms
Voices will signal their tired end
The hostess is grinning, her guests sleep from sinning
Hear me talk of sin and you know this is it, yeahStrange days have found us
And through their strange hours we linger alone
Bodies confused, memories misused
As we run from the day to a strange night of stone
One thing is clear: these candidates will destroy not only our casual joys, but our wonderful republic in the process. In Part II of this article, I explain why each candidate should be elected and why each candidate should not be elected. Then I provide my loyal readers with my prediction of what will happen on November 8, 2016 and in 2017.
The Question: People ask me, who will be the next president?
My answer with complete analysis is in Part II of this article. Look for it soon.
God Bless America.
Finally, an author who brings you solutions, instead of problems.
Americans have lost faith in their overreaching federal government. “We the People” don’t need to be overregulated or have their taxes misspent. Americans are victims of a crumbling economy, high prices and stagnant wages. They view government as bloated and politicians as corrupt.
They do not trust the leadership at any level. They see politicians of both parties as self-centered narcissists whose only objective is re-election. The author is like you, with one principal difference and 20 reasons for optimism. His “Vision” of America is “clear.” It is a vision of the Constitution and America the way it could be, the way it should be. The author’s eyesight is twenty-twenty.

“None of them are true leaders with a vision and a plan to restore American Exceptionalism.” Oh so very, very true.
“Right now it looks like Hillary will trump Donald.” On what do you base this statement. I don’t see that it is all that evident. I certainly hope it’s not. Even though he’s a loose cannon, & I think he is going to have a difficult job controlling congress et al, I will still vote Trump. I guess I will just have to read part II.
“But wait! Is that the only answer to why so many Americans profess this adoration “or” this current crop of candidates.” Should be “of” this current…….

If voters can through the media chatter and noise, and look at what Trump is proposing to do as president, the decision in this election will get more obvious.
