It’s the Two Pipelines, Stupid

My curiosity made me wonder why Hillary Clinton was so invested in the Middle-East and why did she and Obama desperately needed to coverup the death of the four Americans in Benghazi in 2012. One short inquiry led to hundreds of pages of research material. This is the fourth, and I hope, final installment of the Hillary Clinton/Benghazi saga. I know no one will want to read a 77-article series on this subject. I sifted out the important stuff for my readers.

Two New Pipelines

Two competing pipelines proposals put forward by Qatar and Iran were designed to transport natural gas to Europe through Syria. This was before Obama and Clinton started the Syrian Civil War.

Qatar’s plans were introduced in 2009 and involved building a pipeline from the Persian Gulf via Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria and Turkey to sell to Europe. The gas field located on the floor of the Persian Gulf is the largest known natural gas field in the world. Qatar owns about two-thirds of these resources but can’t optimize its profits because it must rely on tankers to deliver the product. This makes their natural gas more expensive than Russia’s.

The proposed pipeline would provide cheaper access of natural gas to Europe but Assad refused to give permission for the pipeline to go through Syrian territory.

Enter the Russians. The Russians are Here.

Can you believe Putin and Russia pressured Assad to reject the pipeline to safeguard their own natural gas business? I can. It’s what they do. It’s what they have always done.

Meanwhile, Back in Iran

At the same time, Iran, which owns the other smaller share of the Persian Gulf gas field, wants to implement its own plan for a $10 billion pipeline to Europe via Iraq and Syria, and then under the Mediterranean Sea.

Ever wonder why Iran supports Syria? We thought it was about religion. Boy, were we wrong. It’s all about the “Prize”– natural gas.

Russia blessed, okay approved, this plan because it could exert more influence over Iran, which, unlike Qatar, did not have a US air base. Assad signed off on the Iran plan in 2012. It was scheduled to be completed in 2016, but it was ultimately delayed because of the Arab Spring, and the civil war Clinton and Obama started. Many countries supporting or opposing the war against Assad have links to these pipeline plans. Remember the fabled sixty country coalition. What a joke. Obama and Clinton got people to buy into that fraud. Follow the big money.

Qatar to the Rescue

Qatar is believed to have funded anti-Assad rebel groups after it became the failed pipeline bidder, providing $3 billion between 2011 and 2013. Saudi Arabia has also been accused of funding the terrorist group. They are a sneaky group that specializes in secrecy and duplicity.

The successful pipeline bidder, Iran, is believed to be helping Assad by running the Syrian army, supplying it with weapons and even troops. These opposing actions indicate the rival pipelines are influencing the conflict in Syria. Follow the big money.

Can the conflict in Syria, when viewed through a geopolitical and economic lens, be a civil war? As the heftier international players locate themselves on the geopolitical chessboard squares in preparation for the opening of the pipeline, what will happen to Syria and its citizens? Will they be captured and placed on the side of the big board as onlookers/refugees while their country is ravaged? Checkmate!

The 2003 Iraq War has been linked to oil in the Persian Gulf and it is now evident this mess in Syria is all about natural gas. Always keep your eye on “The Prize.”

Why Does Turkey Care?

Turkey is one of the countries that will gain from getting rid of Assad. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has been vocal in calling for the Syrian President to step down and has also been accused of helping ISIS, something it has rejected. Does anyone trust anything about Turkey?

While Turkey could have other reasons for supporting the rebels in Syria, such as Assad’s support for the Kurds, gas would definitely be a huge reason for opposing the Assad regime. Turkey, which stands at the crossroads of Asia and Europe, is an aspiring member of the European Union, and some consider it to be the best option for facilitating the movement of gas supplies from the Middle East to Europe. As a hub, Turkey would benefit from transit fees and other energy-generated revenues. Hey, they want in on the big money grab. That’s what Turks do.

This would also insure, along with US support, that all gas suppliers in the Middle East could freely export their product. Qatar’s plans put Turkey at the center of its campaign. As one of the countries relying on Russia for gas, freeing it from this dependence would be a bonus.

Why Syria is Caught in the Middle

None of this will be consummated if the pipeline bypasses Turkey, and Assad becomes instrumental in approving an alternative that does not involve them.

Now that Russia is stepping in to help the Assad regime in Syria — to protect its own dominance in the natural gas market — Turkey is facing a formidable barrier to its aspirations.

Russia’s motives for its air strikes have also been questioned. Its bombing of Islamic State extremists hit Turkmen in northern Syria, who had strong ties to the Turkish government.

I doubt there is much basis for US-Russia co-operation due to opposite interests in gas issues and Iran,” Prof Orenstein told news.com.au. Despite fears that the world is facing a new Cold War, it is more of a “free for all”, with the fight over natural gas adding more fuel to the fire.

You read it all here for the first time. The truth is easy, keeping all the lies in order is not. Now we know the story the Obama administration felt it needed to lie about. Liars all.

Finally, an author who brings you solutions, instead of problems.

Americans have lost faith in their overreaching federal government. “We the People” don’t need to be overregulated or have their taxes misspent. Americans are victims of a crumbling economy, high prices and stagnant wages. They view government as bloated and politicians as corrupt.

They do not trust the leadership at any level. They see politicians of both parties as self-centered narcissists whose only objective is re-election. The author is like you, with one principal difference and 20 reasons for optimism. His “Vision” of America is “clear.” It is a vision of the Constitution and America the way it could be, the way it should be. The author’s eyesight is twenty-twenty.
