Media Bias Nurtured by the First Amendment

Hypocrisy abounds when J-School elites collude amongst themselves while perpetuating the modern day “con.” They write they are sanctioned to expand their First Amendment rights because their idiotic ideology has driven them to new heights of insanity while protecting the destitute downtrodden their absurdity has created. Yes, the elite Shady Stream Media (SSM) are all in on this game of “fool the folks” to purchase money and power for their scumbag politicians.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Nowhere Does It Condone Lying to the Public

Here it is for all to see, read and study. The leftists’ elites say they are entitled to say/write anything they want, including lies about their opponents. Namely you and me. My research and analysis in this article will prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the SSM constantly and continuously lie to “We the People.”

Open and Dishonest Reporting in 2017

Just because they tell us they are covered by the First Amendment doesn’t make it best for America. When a corrupt judge or a group of corrupt circuit court judges make a ruling: it is not constitutional, it is just what they want us to believe.

President Trump has received the most hostile press treatment of any incoming American president. The broadcast networks punish him with fake news coverage that is more than 90 percent negative. The networks generally ignore important national priorities such as jobs, health care, immigration and terrorism in support of a news agenda dominated by Russian voter collusion, anti-Trump controversies and news that would be expected from an opposition party.

We Don’t Hear Much About This

President Trump’s invigorating the economy and bringing back American jobs receives less than one percent of all airtime devoted to the administration, while his moves to renegotiate various international trade deals resulted in less than a few minutes of TV news airtime.

What’s Good for the GOAT is not Good for the RHINO

The Shady Stream Media celebrated President Barack Obama with positive spin eight years ago. They produced thousands of stories discussing the economic agenda of the incoming “regressive” administration.

The Media Research Center (MRC) analysts reviewed ABC, CBS and NBC’s evening news coverage of Trump and his new administration from January 20 through April 9, including weekends. Coverage during the first 80 days was concentrated. The networks whipped up 869 Trump related stories (737 full reports and 132 brief, anchor-read items) plus 140 full reports focused on other topics which discussed the new administration as well.

Five major subjects devoted to the Trump administration accounted for forty-three percent of 1,900 minutes total network airtime. Those five topics accounted for sixty-three percent of the negative coverage piled on the administration. The networks covered each with an overwhelmingly hostile negative slant more than 90 percent of the time. That’s prejudicial in my world.

MRC analysts counted 1,687 evaluative statements about the new administration, of which 1,501 (89%) were negative vs. a mere 186 (11%) which were positive.

The President’s March 4 claim that Trump Tower was “wiretapped” by President Obama drew 97 minutes of coverage (99.5% was negative). 189 negative statements, with only one in support of the President were aired. Network anchors called the President an incorrigible liar. NBC’s Lester Holt questioned on his March 20 newscast: “After a string of unproven claims, will this President struggle to keep the trust of the American public?”

Scott Pelley, formally of CBS, said President Trump had psychological problems, asking longtime Democratic official Leon Panetta: “Is it appropriate to ask whether the President is having difficulty with rationality?”

Media Bias with a capital “B”

Important topics were pushed far down the network news agenda. The entire process, from nomination to confirmation, of Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch received just 69 minutes of network evening news coverage. The ongoing war against ISIS, including the tragic raid in Yemen that killed a Navy SEAL, was given just 57 minutes of coverage.

The Shady Stream Media’s treatment of President Obama’s first 100 days was just the opposite. They delivered most of their coverage on Obama’s key policy priorities, headlined by the $1 trillion “stimulus” package. The network spin on that legislation: 58 percent positive vs. 42 percent negative.

Obama’s intervention in the housing market was 59% positive. His decision to use taxpayer money to fund embryo-destroying stem cell research was 82% positive. His push for increased government action on global warming was 78% positive.

Brian Williams, deposed NBC Nightly News liar, marveled on March 10, 2009:

“The President’s first seven weeks have been a whirlwind, with often dramatic movement in all directions, on all fronts: the economy, health care, two wars and today education reform.”

On March 1, 2009, ABC’s medical editor, Dr. Tim Johnson, gushed after a forum on health care:

“I was blown away by President Obama’s grasp of the subject, how he connected the dots, how he answered the questions without any script.”

ABC broadcast dozens of stories that treated Obama and his family as pop culture celebrities. NBC’s Dawna Friesen enthused on the April 1, 2009 Nightly News:

“From the moment the Obamas landed in Britain, hand in hand, many here were already star-struck,”

Covering a European leaders summit, ABC’s David Muir warmly referred to Obama as:

“the cool kid in the class.”

No Love for the Trumps

President Trump and his family have received no such positive reviews. The SSM has been endlessly hostile, with aggressive negative coverage of both his policies and his character. When voters select a president who challenges the “Regressive” liberal establishment, the GOATs morph into rabid dogs ferociously attacking the president and his agenda.

Americans have lost faith in their overreaching federal government. “We the People” don’t need to be overregulated or have their taxes misspent. Americans are victims of a crumbling economy, high prices and stagnant wages. They view government as bloated and politicians as corrupt.

They do not trust the leadership at any level. They see politicians of both parties as self-centered narcissists whose only objective is re-election. The author is like you, with one principal difference and 20 reasons for optimism.
