Oscar, Oscar. Who’s Got the Oscar
The Muckster is going to make many new enemies with this article, but then again, I may make a few new friends and find some kindred souls who see this Oscar charade for what it really is. This annual phenomenon is watched by millions of people so therefore we should have a smattering of knowledge of how the process works.
The work is really done behind the scenes. Just like politics. The onstage presentation is only to self-celebrate the participant’s idiocy and to convince half the country that the other half are idiots. Just not idiots like them.
They start planning for the next year shortly after the awards show. The "top secret" work happens in the week before the Awards.
First, ballots are collected by the team. The 2017 voting closed Tuesday, February 21, at 5:00 p.m. PST. This is not an online poll with a quick computer-generated tally. This is an old-fashioned count the ballots by hand job. That means old-style paper ballots combined with online votes. The manual process is secure, and it helps guarantee the integrity of the process. No Russians hacking this baby!
It takes approximately 1,700 manpower hours to count and verify the ballots. If one person were doing all the work, it would take 43 work-weeks to count and verify the ballots. The result is only 2 people know the winners.

The Academy Awards is one of most watched live television shows of the year. Approximately 37.3 million viewers tuned in from the United States in 2015, 34.3 million watched in 2016. That was a good thing as 3 million less viewers had to suffer through the screw-ups and the screwballs.
Jimmy Kimmel hosted the 89th annual Academy Awards on ABC. Martha Ruiz and her partner, Brian Cullinan, of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) oversee the initial counting of the ballots. The final tallies are not recorded and the two lead the count and the recount as they don't write the winners' names down, or record an aggregate tally on paper. Instead, the pair goes to work memorizing the winners for each of the 24 categories before manually stuffing the envelopes with the winners' names.
What We Typically See During This Self-Promotion
We, the deplorables, become more united during the show, presuming that we watched it, as the likes of Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lawrence, Alec Baldwin, Cher, Ashley Judd, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, and the other arrogant hypocrites rant that we, the backbone and decent people of America, are evil sexists, bigots, racists, fascists, homophobes, etc. This contempt unites us against the bitter, unhappy, angry, divisive, irrational people of the entertainment industry.
These arrogant, pompous, pampered soulless individuals declare that half of Americans are racist, sexist, and bigoted for voicing our political choice through Donald Trump. Yet there can be no doubt that the entertainment industry does more to exploit, degrade, minimize, and stereotype women than Donald Trump or any other industry ever has.
We have witnessed acts like Beyonce and Miley Cyrus parading on stage with little to no clothing while grabbing their crotches and allowing fans to do the same; movies that depict women as whores, sluts, and gold-diggers dependent on their bodies for survival; the disgraceful speeches of Madonna and Ashley Judd talking about their periods in a vile manner and talking about blowing voters and blowing up the White House.
The wearing of pink does not negate the black hearts that these people have for our country and our Constitution. Nor does it negate the disdain and contempt they have for the American people and our political process.
Some in the entertainment industry are mocking us saying, "Go ahead, we don't need you trailer trash racists." Yeah, but these fools do need our cash. Let’s send a strong and powerful message to this gaggle of perverts to stick to their make- believe jobs and to leave the politics of this country to the informed citizenry, just as our wise and forward thinking forefathers designed.
Next year we must send these evil-hearted people a strong and distinct message that they do not speak for the women of this country and they are not the role models of our young daughters. Go to fewer movies and don’t watch in 2018.
Learn how we can have a government that is small, limited, close to home and a government that is responsive to “We the People.” Read 20/20: A Clear Vision for America instead of going to a movie. The book costs less and is much more informative. You’ll thank me later.

Finally, an author who brings you solutions, instead of problems.
Americans have lost faith in their overreaching federal government. “We the People” don’t need to be overregulated or have their taxes misspent. Americans are victims of a crumbling economy, high prices and stagnant wages. They view government as bloated and politicians as corrupt.
They do not trust the leadership at any level. They see politicians of both parties as self-centered narcissists whose only objective is re-election. The author is like you, with one principal difference and 20 reasons for optimism. His “Vision” of America is “clear.” It is a vision of the Constitution and America the way it could be, the way it should be. The author’s eyesight is twenty-twenty.
