Reject the Nonsense Football League

Not one minute. Not this year and not one minute in 2016. I refuse to watch a bunch of misguided, ignorant millionaires disrespect our anthem, our flag, our vets and our republic to promote a lie.

They not only don’t stand in American stadiums, they knelt during the playing of our National Anthem in London and Mexico City, and then had the unmitigated gall to stand for the foreign anthems in front of foreign audiences. They have influenced college, high school and pewee players to kneel as well. Will you join me?

I confess. I was once a season ticket holder for the St. Louis Cardinals from the time they opened Busch Stadium II in St. Louis in 1966. I held those tickets until 1986 when my travel schedule interfered with the scheduled games. In 1988, the Cardinals dumped St. Louis for Arizona and that settled that. When I moved to Florida I ordered the NFL TV package for a few years. Then the St. Louis Rams dumped St. Louis for Los Angeles. The NFL became the No Fun League.

Why Should Anyone Want to Watch these Games

Allow me to sum it up this way. The Nonsense Football League is run by a commissioner who made $44.2 million dollars in 2012 and now is negotiating for a bigger contract. His mismanagement includes numerous scandals and ludicrous decisions running the gamut from deflated footballs to violent assaults by millionaire players on defenseless women. Then we have billionaire owners who move franchises at a whim while living lavish lives in their luxury boxes and at their luxurious meetings in fabulous hotels none of us could afford to walk through the front door. And we’re paying for all of this.

20/20 reveals how a small, limited streamlined government is the best solution to make America complete again.

Why should we support coaches who cheat to gain nominal advantages over their opponents while sending their millionaire players out to get concussions and suffer from CTE? They all make about $5 million per year and are riddled with their own misdeeds. And we’re paying for all of this.

Let me sum this up with the players who make upwards of $20 million per year to play a game we can play in a park for fun. I know, we’re not as big and fast and skilled as they are. But then again, we aren’t using our size and skill to beat women up either. We hear them moan about how short their careers are and how their careers can end with an injury. And we’re paying for all of this.

I’m Supporting the Movement

I have published a video that not only supports the movement, but adds to the cause by subtracting viewership on Thursday Nights, Sunday Nights and Monday Nights. It’s the total package and it’s working. Watch this video and share with everyone you know and don’t know.

According , the league and its TV partners — CBS, Fox Sports, ESPN and NBC — have already lost hundreds of millions of dollars. Ratings have dropped overall by 20 percent since 2015. The TV partners are on track to lose $500 million this year alone.

A recent Thursday night game had a 9.7 result in metered market ratings down 10% from last year’s Thanksgiving NFL match-up on the Comcast-owned net.

A recent Monday Night Football had a 7.2 in metered market result. Down 9% from the previous week. Perhaps some sanity will come to the forefront.

Disrespect, Impertinence and Insult

I wrote about how one misguided, ignorant brainwashed multi-millionaire was convinced by his Muslim girlfriend to sit down during the playing of our National Anthem. Few seemed to notice and then he was told it would be better if he didn’t sit so he decided to kneel during our National Anthem. This was done to protest widespread police brutality, institutional racism and wrongdoings to African-Americans and minorities. He said,

I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color, Kaepernick told NFL Media in an exclusive interview after the game. "To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.

I Wholeheartedly Disagree, Do You?

I have not witnessed bodies in the streets, nor do the statistics support white police killings of blacks to be a catastrophic number. I am not familiar with racism in America. I have never met a white supremacist. I am sure there are some reprehensible people in America, just as I am sure they are in a small minority and they encompass all races, religions and ethnic backgrounds.

It will take a lot of patriots to end this disgraceful behavior.

The Muckster will continue to keep an eye open and an ear to the ground to keep my readers informed. I am here to lead you out of the past and into a bright future with 20/20: A Clear Vision for Our future. You are my inspiration. Be a part of the narrative.

Finally, an author who brings you solutions, instead of problems.

Americans have lost faith in their overreaching federal government. “We the People” don’t need to be overregulated or have their taxes misspent. Americans are victims of a crumbling economy, high prices and stagnant wages. They view government as bloated and politicians as corrupt.

They do not trust the leadership at any level. They see politicians of both parties as self-centered narcissists whose only objective is re-election. The author is like you, with one principal difference and 20 reasons for optimism. His “Vision” of America is “clear.” It is a vision of the Constitution and America the way it could be, the way it should be. The author’s eyesight is twenty-twenty.
