The ISIS CR*ISIS: refugee or immigrant?
Am I wrong on this one? I usually always resort to “follow the money.” But my sniffer cannot pick up the money scent on this ISIS phenomenon. I feel like Ozzie singing “Can you help me occupy my brain?” is Paranoid. There must be more to this than we know. Is it votes?
The politicians have made this a humanitarian/security crisis. The left, following the White House lead, states that we must help the Syrian and Iraqi refugees. They say: America is a compassionate country; America must do the right thing; America must help keep these families together; etc.
The opposition frames this ISIS Crisis as a security and safety issue. They say: America cannot vet (make a careful and critical examination) these refugees; this will bring terrorists into America; this is helping Muslims, not Christians; and they are not families, but mostly young men of military age, etc.
So, who has the right answer? How do “We the People” correctly discover the best course. It is obvious we cannot leave it up to the politicians because we can’t be certain of their agenda.
We do, however, know that ISIS has caused an unfathomable crisis in the Mideast and Africa. They are sure to come to our local theaters soon. This is inevitable. But will they come in the form of refugees without valid passports or birth certificates? If it is true that most of the refugees are young military age males, why aren’t they fighting the enemy in their homeland, instead of seeking refuge in America? Did we abandon them when we should have helped them several years ago? Did we have a hand in the formation of ISIS? Be honest. Do we really know the facts? Or are we following the ideology of our politicians, whom we know we cannot trust?
In Chapter 13 of 20/20: A Clear Vision for America I write:
“We must “lock down” our borders and have a one-year immigration moratorium to determine who is within the borders of the United States of America.”
I believe we need to apply this practice now! These refugees in question, are in fact, a type of immigrant. I see this ISIS Crisis, not as a humanitarian issue, but as an attack on civilization.
How do you see it? You can’t spell CRISIS without ISIS.
Finally, an author who brings you solutions, instead of problems.
Americans have lost faith in their overreaching federal government. “We the People” don’t need to be overregulated or have their taxes misspent. Americans are victims of a crumbling economy, high prices and stagnant wages. They view government as bloated and politicians as corrupt. They do not trust the leadership at any level. They see politicians of both parties as self-centered narcissists whose only objective is re-election. The author is like you, with one principal difference and 20 reasons for optimism. His “Vision” of America is “clear.” It is a vision of the Constitution and America the way it could be, the way it should be. The author’s eyesight is twenty-twenty.
