ISIS: Theocracy out of Control

The following is the Third installment in a series of stories that depict the foundation of ISIS; the continuing saga of the “Pedal to the Metal” Islamic Jihad Extremist Terrorism Organization Franchises (IJETOF) movement in southwestern Asia; and the unending deaths of our brave patriots.

ISIS is identified as killing lots of people, both Muslims and Christians. They destroy cities, art and artifacts. They destroy religious symbols of all types. They carry out public beheadings, crucifixions, burnings as well as various other vile and viscous acts.

ISIS has taken control of large areas of north and western Iraq once liberated by our brave men and women in uniform. In AD 711, or CE 711 if you prefer, they controlled an area from the Indus River in the east to Iberia in the west. They have a bold objective: world domination by their caliphate.

Does anyone believe they don’t want to do it again? They plan in centuries. We in the west plan in weeks and months. So goodbye to the territory from Pakistan to Portugal. Farewell to northern Africa as well. Cheerio, Ciao, Adios, Adieu, Auf Wiedersehen, Vi Ses Senare (Sweden) and Ta-ta to Europe! See you later, Alligator. Blow out the candles. "The Party's Over," in the good ole USA.

“The Party’s Over” – Willie Nelson

Turn out the lights
The party's over
They say that
All good things must end
Call it tonight
The party's over
And tomorrow starts
The same old thing again

But the crazy crazy party
Never seen so many people
Laughing dancing
Look at you you're having fun
But look at me
I'm almost cryin'
That don't keep her love from dyin'
Misery cause for me the party's over
Turn out the lights...

Once I had a love undyin'
I didn't keep it but I tried
Life for me was just one party
And then another
I broke her heart so many times
I had to have my parting wife
I had to have my party
Why broke her heart so many times
But one day she said
Sweetheart the party's over
Turn out the lights...

I never thought of Willie as a prophet, but then again this Willie (the Muckster) never thought the United States of America would be singing that all good things must come to an end. Our laughing and dancing is dying while we have our “party heads” buried in our crazy “stupid phones.” Life for us is just a make-believe world of what is on the machine in our hands while the evil is breaking our hearts. Sweet America, the party’s over. Turn out the lights . . .

diaPanetta_DCCO110.largeISIS essentially began as an al Qaeda splinter team, a rival franchise if you will. They are also referred to as Islamic State in Iraq as well as the Levant (ISIL) and Islamic State (IS). A much “bigger picture” admission and confirmation is contained in one of the Defense Intelligence Agency documents circulated in 2012: that an ‘Islamic State’ is desired in Eastern Syria to effect the West’s policies in the region.

Astoundingly, the newly declassified report states that for “the west, gulf countries, and turkey [who] support the [Syrian] opposition… there is the possibility of establishing a declared, or undeclared, Salafist principality in eastern Syria (Hadaka and der or), and this is exactly what the supporting powers to the opposition want, in order to isolate the Syrian regime . . .”

The DIA report, formerly classified “SECRET//NOFORN” and dated August 12, 2012, was circulated widely among various government agencies, including CENTCOM, the CIA, FBI, DHS, NGA, State Dept., and many others.

The document shows that as early as 2012, U.S. intelligence predicted the rise of the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIS or ISIL – whatever!), but instead of clearly delineating the group as an enemy, the report envisions the terror group as a U.S. strategic asset.

Much like Al Qaeda, the Islamic State (ISIS) is made-in-the-USA, an instrument of terror designed to divide and conquer the oil-rich Middle East and to counter Iran’s growing influence in the region.

The fact is the United States has a long and torrid history of backing terrorist groups will surprise only those who watch the news and ignore history.

The CIA first aligned itself with extremist Islam during the Cold War era. Back then, America saw the world in rather simple terms: on one side, the Soviet Union and Third World nationalism, which America regarded as a Soviet tool; on the other side, Western nations and militant political Islam, which America considered an ally in the struggle against the Soviet Union.

The Republicans have a simple, self-serving narrative: Obama is to blame because ISIS’s ascent occurred on his watch. Not surprisingly, Obama administration officials disagree; they point the finger at President Bush’s blunders.

Who done it? Bush or Obama

The rise of ISIS more complex than political folly. Both Bush and Obama deserve lots of blame. ISIS has become a battle-hardened, well-financed jihadi group with the aid and assistance of leaders and sympathizers in Iraq, Syria, Turkey and the Sunni monarchies of the Persian Gulf. Their support for ISIS stresses the sorry limits of American power and influence in the region.

Douglas Ollivant, the former director for Iraq on the National Security Council for both Bush and Obama, puts it: “We Americans are the supporting cast, not the lead actors.”

Meanwhile, Back in 2004

ISIS’s precursor, Al-Qaeda in Iraq, emerged in 2004 to resist the American occupation. The movement was led by Abu Musab Zarqawi, a Jordanian. The group consisted of Sunnis, most of them disgruntled former Iraqi soldiers left without paychecks after the Bush administration disbanded the Iraqi army.

They utilized IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices) and suicide bombers. Zarqawi and his ‘band of merry men’ attacked American troops and Shiite mosques. Their obvious objective was to kick the American forces out of Iraq and provoke a sectarian war between Shia and Sunni to establish an Islamic caliphate in Iraq.

We were not on the same page with these guys. When Obama pulled the American presence out of Iraq, it sealed the deal for ISIS, ISIL or whatever Obama wants to call them.

We have Met the Enemy, and They are US!

Our federal government, led by our incompetent or duplicitous, double-dealing, deceitful, dishonest and disloyal elected officials, permitted this to happen. They screw up . . . and then they don’t know how to fix it. Meanwhile, we pay big bucks for their oil. They turn around and use it to kill and destroy us. We need to wake up! We need to end this circular madness!

We Created This Islamic movement. We are Bringing It to America.

It will be here in the blink of an eye. Will it be known as ISPW (Islamic State Planet Wide), ISNA (Islamic State Norte Americana), ISUS (Islamic State United States) or simply ISA (Islamic State America)? We must do something about it before it becomes too difficult to adapt to.

Think of dressing our daughters in Burkas for school at Caliphate Elementary, if we still have schools for them. Think of our sons learning how to strap a suicide vest on at Wahhabi High. Think of the outlay for the prayer mats we will need to kneel on. Gonna be impossible for most of us to accept the religious, political, economic, social, and cultural ways of Islam, just like it was in 1770.

Wake up America. The party startin’ at The Green Dragon Tavern. My love of liberty and freedom is undyin’. We have some revolutin’ to do.

Bill-Buckler-Bio-01-1Finally, an author who brings you solutions, instead of problems.

Americans have lost faith in their overreaching federal government. “We the People” don’t need to be overregulated or have their taxes misspent. Americans are victims of a crumbling economy, high prices and stagnant wages. They view government as bloated and politicians as corrupt.

They do not trust the leadership at any level. They see politicians of both parties as self-centered narcissists whose only objective is re-election. The author is like you, with one principal difference and 20 reasons for optimism. His “Vision” of America is “clear.” It is a vision of the Constitution and America the way it could be, the way it should be. The author’s eyesight is twenty-
